Accreditation means quality, and FRCC's Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Program has earned national accreditation from PAHRA, the Partnership for Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Accreditation.
Accreditation means FRCC's HVAC Program has exceeded national standards set by industry for instruction, curriculum, faculty qualification and facility standards. FRCC is accredited for:
- Residential air conditioning and heating
- Light commercial air conditioning and heating
- Commercial refrigeration
The Associate of Applied Science Degree program provides training in basic through advanced heating, air conditioning and refrigeration. Other topics include: basic electricity and electrical components for HVACR, refrigerant tubing, fabrication, soldering, brazing and trouble shooting, plus residential and commercial heating, hot water heating, industrial controls, advanced troubleshooting, customer service, teamwork, and communication.
Certificates can be earned in:
- Light Commercial Air Conditioning and Heating
- Residential Air Conditioning and Heating
- Residential and Commercial Refrigeration
All classes are offered at the Community Learning Center in the Thompson School District Building, 800 S. Taft, Loveland. See map.
